The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to re-issue him passport. The petitioner is seeking further direction to respondents to decide his legal notice-cum-representation dated 12.02.2024 (Annexure P-4). 2.

The petitioner has applied for re-issuance of passport and matter is pending before passport authority. He has served legal notice-cumrepresentation dated 12.02.2024 upon the respondents. 3.

Ms. Neha Jain, Advocate, submits that earlier passport of the petitioner is valid till 03.03.2025. Nevertheless, competent authority will look into the matter and his representation would be decided expeditiously, in accordance with law.

In the wake of statement of counsel for Union of India, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondents to decide legal notice-cum-representation dated 12.02.2024 of the petitioner, within four weeks from today.
