(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.16 dated 08.02.2019 under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC registered at PS City-II, Mansa, District Mansa. Vide order dated 12.12.2019, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and the parties were directed to appear before the Mediation Centre. Pursuant thereto, report of the mediator has been received, wherein it has been stated that the matter has been compromised between ASHWANI KUMAR 2020.01.27 17:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Criminal Misc. No. M-10960 of 2019 -2the parties. The report is accompanied with settlement/compromise dated 07.01.2020.

Learned counsel for respondent no.2 does not dispute the settlement/compromise so arrived between the parties. Considering the fact that the matter has been compromised between the parties and the settlement/compromise has been reduced into writing before the mediator, the present petition is allowed and the interim order dated 11.03.2019, whereby the arrest of the petitioner was stayed, is made absolute.

However, in case the petitioner is required in the case in any manner, a clear 15 days notice be given to him to enable him to approach the appropriate forum, if required.
