(ORAL) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.176 dated 19.12.2022 registered under Sections 323, 324, 341, 427, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Dera Baba Nanak, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur. Short reply dated 05.07.2023 by way of affidavit of Ravinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Special Branch and Criminal Intelligence, Batala, with additional charge of Sub Division Dera Baba Nanak Police District Batala, filed on behalf of the respondent-State in Court today, is taken on record.
