NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing respondents No.1 and 2 to maintain the seniority list dated 25.05.1992 for the steno typists, which became final after the prescribed period and promote the petitioner on the basis of the same w.e.f. the date respondent No.3 who is junior to the petitioner, has been promoted. Further a writ of certiorari has been sought for setting-aside the order whereby respondent No.3 has been promoted from the post of Steno-typist to Junior Scale Stenographer.

CWP No.9242 of 2000 (O&M) Since there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and respondent No.3, fresh notices were ordered to be issued to them on 09.08.2024.

As per office report, notice issued to the petitioner and respondent No.3 has been received back with the report "SPINFED office does not exist now at the given address". In this view of the matter, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
