IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH

Letters Patent Appeal No. 301 of 2023 (O&M) Date of Decision: 20.03.2023 Parveen Kumar and another .....Appellants versus State of Haryana and others .....Respondents

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE RAVI SHANKER JHA, CHIEF JUSTICE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN PALLI, JUDGE Present :

Mr. J.S.Maanipur, Advocate with Ms. Harprit Kaur, Advocate, for the appellants. Mr. Deepak Balyan, Addl. Advocate General, Haryana. **** CM No. 862-LPA- 2023 For the reasons mentioned in the application, delay of 162 days in filing the appeal is condoned. Application stands disposed of. Main Appeal After arguing at length, learned counsel for the appellants fairly concedes that while passing the impugned judgment dated 30.08.2022, the learned Single had extensively quoted and relied upon the judgment dated 23.11.2022 passed in another matter (CWP No. 26894 of 2022), and the Letters Patent Appeal No. 117 of 2023 filed against the said judgment has since been dismissed on 08.02.2023. Therefore, he submits that the issue raised in the present appeal stands squarely covered by the decision of this Court rendered in Letters Patent Appeal No. 117 of 2023 (Virender and others vs. State of Haryana and others).

In view of the aforesaid, the present appeal also stands dismissed in terms of the orders dated 08.02.2023 passed by this Court in Letters Patent Appeal No. 117 of 2023.
