Mr. H.S. Bedi, Advocate for the petitioner.
*** HARSH BUNGER, J. (Oral) 1.
The present Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 3 to cease the Sarpanch-respondent No.4 in terms of provisions of Section 5 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act as the Sarpanch has failed to hold to consecutive general meetings of Hari and Sawni of the Gram Sabha. 2.
