NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to adjust the petitioner against the post lying vacant and to pay salary to him with interest. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with the efflux of time and on joining of the petitioner on a fresh appointment in the agriculture department, Punjab, the instant petition has been rendered infructuous.

Disposed of as having become infructuous.
