(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the office order No.285/General Branch, dated 04.07.2000, issued by respondent No.1 (Annexure P-19/A). Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondents to allow the petitioners to work on the promoted post of Mate.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioners have already been promoted to the post of Mate and thereafter, they have retired from service.
Disposed of as having become infructuous.
