Petitioner has filed this third petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.103 dated 13.05.2017 under Sections 307, 34 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station Beas, District Amritsar.

Notice of motion.

Mr.Dhruv Dayal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent-State and contested the petition. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that present petitioner is named in the FIR. He is the main accused. He was armed with pistol and fired 4-5 shots, which hit on the right side of chest of the complainant, second hit on right VINEET GULATI 2019.05.08 16:24 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh side of hip-bone, third hit on the upper right side of shoulder and fourth shot

CRM No.M-11221 of 2019 -2hit near the kidney on the left side.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, nature and gravity of the offence and in view of the fact that petitioner is the main accused, I do not find it a fit case where petitioner is entitled to benefit of regular bail.

Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
