Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.0164 dated 09.05.2017 under Section 379-A IPC, registered at Police Station Ladwa, District Kurukshetra.
Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel appeared and contested the petition.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that FIR in the present case has been got registered by Useem Ali alias Munna, who stated that on 09.05.2017, he boarded one auto rickshaw in which one lady and a man were sitting on the Vineet Gulati 2017.06.02 16:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CRM No.M-19338 of 2017 -2backside. As per prosecution version, `20,000/- from right pocket of trouser of complainant has been snatched forcibly at about 2.00 p.m. and they pushed the complainant out of the auto and he fell down. Complainant raised alarm and many people gathered there.
The present petitioner is stated to be one of them sitting in the auto rickshaw. She is required for custodial interrogation. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
