**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J The instant petition is for quashing of order dated 24.12.2013 passed by Judicial Magistrate Ist Class in FIR No. 2 dated 4.1.2013 registered under Sections 406, 498-A IPC, Police Station NRI, Hoshiarpur (Annexure P-1) whereby the petitioner were declared proclaimed offenders. The petitioners were abroad and they were declared proclaimed offenders vide the impugned order.

The petitioners have also filed a petition bearing No. CRM-M30773-2017 seeking quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise. The petitioners had come to India and appeared before the trial Court. The statements of the petitioners as well as Special Power of Attorney of respondent No. 2 had been recorded by the trial Court with regard to the compromise effected between them.

Crl. Misc. No. M-2027 of 2018 -2Vide order of even date, the connected petition bearing No. CRM-M-30773-2017 has been allowed and the FIR has been quashed as the parties have compromised the matter.

Since the matter has been compromised and the FIR has been quashed, the order dated 24.12.2013 is set aside. The petition is allowed.
