It is inter alia contended that petitioner No. 1-Parveen Chopra was earlier married with one Shikha Khosla D/o Rajesh Khosla resident of House No. 42, Street No. 3-A, Preet Nagar Phagwara, District Kapurthala and that marriage was dissolved under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 by a decree dated 31.05.2011 (Annexure P-4) passed by the learned Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Phagwara.

In view of the limited prayer made in the petition and without commenting upon the validity of marriage or the correctness of ages, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No. 1 and 2 to look into the allegations contained in representation dated 29.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) and if warranted, take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
It is made clear that if a complaint for criminal offence or an FIR is pending, this order shall not cause any hindrance in those proceedings.
