***** SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA, J (ORAL) The present petition has been has been filed for assailing the order dated 18.01.2019 passed by the learned Family Court at Ambala for enhancement of the maintenance amount awarded. In view of the order dated 24.05.2023, passed by this Court, the parties were directed to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court where the Mediator would record the statement of the parties in terms of the agreement and duly attested and submit his report. As per the report submitted by the Mediator, the settlement agreement has been placed alongwith the mediation report and the various conditions of the settlement would bind both the parties. The settlement agreement is made rule of the Court and shall be treated as a decree. In compliance of the settlement agreement, the draft amount of Rs.

13,5000/- vide demand draft No.622684 dated 29.05.2023 has been handed over to the lady in the Court by the respondent- husband as a full and final amount as decided in the settlement agreement. The other conditions as RAMAN KUMAR 2023.05.

CRR(F)-138 of 2019 (O&M) -22023:PHHC:078897 mentioned in the settlement agreement shall now be processed by both the parties. As regards the case registered under Section 498-A is concerned, the parties have agreed to move an appropriate petition before this Court for seeking quashing of the proceedings for which statement shall be recorded by the concerned area Magistrate as and when the petition is filed. The present petition stands disposed of in terms of the aforesaid orders.
