**** RITU BAHRI, J. (Oral) Present petition is for release of petitioners on regular bail in FIR No.26 dated 29.01.2015, under Section 304-B IPC, registered at Police Station Jandiala, District Amritsar.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody since 18.10.2016 and prior to said date they have been declared as proclaimed offencer. Amarjit Singh-husband (son of petitioner No.1) was convicted & sentenced for the commission of offence punishable under Section 304-B IPC, vide judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 20.02.2016, by the trial Court. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Balkar Singh, has informed that after presentation of the challan, the charge has been framed on 05.04.2017 and there are 15 witnesses to be examined in the Naresh Kumar 2017.06.03 12:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh present case.

CRM-M-19490-2017 -2I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and with their able assistance gone through the material available on record. The petitioners were arrested on 18.10.2016. Since then, they are in judicial custody and no useful purpose would be served to further detain them in jail. The final conclusion of trial will take a long time. Keeping in view the above-said facts and the fact that petitioner No.1 is old mother-in-law and petitioner No.2 is sister-in-law, who was residing separately from the matrimonial house of sister of the complainant, the petitioners are ordered to be released on regular bail on their furnishing adequate bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Judge/Duty Magistrate, Amritsar.

Needless to mention that, nothing observed here-in-above, would reflect, on merits in the trial of the main case, in any manner.
