(Oral) The allegations against petitioner Kirandeep Kaur as per contentions of counsel for the petitioner are that she happens to be the wife of principal accused Gurjant Singh and that it was the latter who had duped complainant Ravinder Singh for a sum of Rs 10 lacs to facilitate his migration to Australia. The contention of counsel for the petitioner that there is no role attributed to the petitioner except that she happens to be class fellow of complainant though on behalf of State the bail application is opposed but it is duly acceded to as far as factual aspect is concerned.
Keeping in view that there is no allegation against the petitioner for having conspired and that nothing it to be recovered from her, the petitioner shall be released on bail to the satisfaction of arresting/investigating officer. The petitioner shall, however, join the Dalbir Singh Tiwana 2016.08.03 10:45 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
Criminal Misc. No. M-20406 of 2016 -2investigation as and when called for and shall also abide by the conditions specified under section 438 (2) Cr.P.C. This order shall be valid till submission of report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. (challan). Thereafter, petitioner will be permitted to furnish regular bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
