It is contended that the petitioner is in cultivating possession of the land in question and a decree dated 28.03.2016, Annexure P1, has also been issued in his favour. The accused/respondents No.4 to 12, despite the said decree, forcibly harvested the wheat crop in respect to which an application dated 08.04.2016 was submitted to respondent No.3. It is further submitted that wheat crop was forcibly lifted by the said accused on 20.04.2016 at midnight. Representation dated 21.04.2016, Annexure P2, was submitted by the petitioner to respondent No.2 i.e., Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka but no action has been taken by the official respondents.

It is stated that the petitioner would be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to look into above-stated complaint/ OMKAR SINGH 2016.06.06 17:05 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the relief sought in this petition but without commenting on the merit of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka to look into the matter and take appropriate action as may be required on complaint/representation dated 21.04.2016 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law.
