Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 205 dated 27.11.2014 under Section 493, 495, 420, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Sadar, Jalandhar.

While issuing notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 21.01.2015:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in fact complainant was married to Naresh Kumar and that marriage is still subsisting. FIR in question has been lodged as a counter-blast to the complaint filed by the wife of the petitioner under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. Crl. Misc. No. M-1950 of 2015 -2- Notice of motion for 21.04.2015 In the meantime, in the event of arrest, petitioner be admitted to interim bail subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. He shall abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973."

Learned State counsel, who is assisted by Head Constable Kulwinder Singh, has submitted that in terms of the above order, petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for further investigation.

Accordingly, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioner vide order dated 21.01.2015 is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
