The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking ante dated promotion as Sub Inspector. He was promoted as Sub Inspector on 21.06.2000. He is claiming that he should be promoted from 18.02.1987 as per instructions regarding 20% reservation for Scheduled Caste in Class-III and IV posts. 2.

Learned State counsel submits that petitioner retired on 30.06.2005 from Telecommunication Department. He was promoted as per roster point. His representation was duly considered and rejected. 3.
