The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to declare the petitioner medically fit for joining as Sailor for the post of Artificer Apprentice/SSR in Indian Navy or in the alternative direct Director of PGI, Chandigtarh/Rohtak to constitute a medical board for assessing visual standard of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition and further submits that withdrawal of this petition may not come in his way for future appointment.
