Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered against him under sections 406, 420 IPC vide FIR No. 218 dated 31.08.2016 at police station Farrukh Nagar, Gurugram. Petitioner was granted interim bail vide order dated September 25, 2017 on the condition that he would remit an amount of `25.00 lacs to the complainant within a period of two weeks. Admittedly, said amount has now been paid to the complainant. Case is triable by Magistrate. Trial of the case may take long time to conclude, thus,no useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner in custody any longer.
In view of the above, interim order dated September 25, 2017 whereby petitioner was granted interim bail is hereby made absolute subject to petitioner furnishing fresh bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court. Disposed of.
