Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNSS') for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.366 dated 24.6.2024 under Sections 302/506/420/120-B of the IPC and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959 (Challan presented under Sections 120-B, 302, 506, 420 of IPC and Section 25 of Arms Act and charges framed under Sections 302/120B/506/420 of IPC and Section 25 of Arms Act), registered at Police Station City Hansi, District Hansi.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition in hand at this stage. He has however, submitted that since the petitioner is in custody since 25.6.2024, the trial proceedings be expedited insofar it relates to examining of private prosecution witnesses.
