IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-19619 of 2015 (O&M) Date of Decision: 9.7.2015 Ranbir Chand .....Petitioner Vs.

State of Punjab .....Respondents CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK Present : Mr. Fariad Singh Virk, Advocate for the petitioner.

Mr. K.D.Sachdeva, Additional A.G. Punjab.

**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in FIR No. 48 dated 29.4.2015 under Sections 452/380/323/506 IPC (Section 201 IPC was added later on), registered at Police Station Passiana, District Patiala. Notice of motion was issued.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, as a matter of fact, was arrested on 17.6.2015 and thereafter, was released on regular bail, rendering the present petition as infructuous. Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly states that let the present petition be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the State. Ordered accordingly.
