(ORAL) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 439 Cr.P.C for grant of bail pending trial in case FIR No.104 dated 03.05.2022 registered under Sections 420 & 120-B of IPC, at Police Station Salem Tabri, District Ludhiana.

There are direct allegations against the petitioner qua having defrauded the complainant for an amount of Rs.10,50,000/- in the garb of executing the agreement to sell qua particular piece of land. However, the petitioner was not even owner of the said property. Hence, at this stage, it cannot be ruled out that the petitioner is involved in the crime alleged against him.

Keeping in view the seriousness of the allegations against the petitioner and the fact that he has committed a white-collar crime, this Court does not find any ground to grant the bail pending trial to the petitioner. The same is dismissed.
