RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.73 dated 25.04.2017 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 454 and 379-B IPC registered at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, District Gurdaspur, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2) Pursuant to the order dated 30.05.2017 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 19.06.2017 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Batala, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.239 dated 30.06.2017 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Gurdaspur vide letter No.11317/RKT dated 03.07.2017.
According to the report, the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class is satisfied that the compromise entered into between the parties is genuine, voluntary and without undue influence, coercion or threat.
