Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Petitioners are in custody since 11.3.2015. All the offences alleged in the FIR are triable by Magistrate. Admittedly, trial is in progress and charges have also been framed.

In view of above, no useful purpose will be served by detaining the petitioners during the pendency of trial which may take long time to conclude. They be enlarged on bail to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Amritsar subject to heavy surety and any other conditions deemed fit to be imposed by the trial court.
