The present 2nd petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in the case of FIR No. 0051 dated 15.10.2023 under Section 306 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station GRP Pathankot, District Pathankot (Annexure P-1).

After arguing vehemently on the merits of the case, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition and prays that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court within one week from today and in case, she applies for the grant of regular bail, the same be decided expeditiously.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also relies upon the order passed by this Court in the case of Surjit Singh (her husband) bearing No. CRM-M-8207-2024 decided on 16.02.2024 in which the details of the PARUL 2024.03.14 17:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document offence have been duly discussed.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed and the petitioner is directed to surrender within one week from today i.e. on or before 21.03.2024 and in case, she applies for the grant of regular bail, the same be decided expeditiously on its own merits and in accordance with law preferably within 10 working days thereafter.
