IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH FAO No. 1447 of 2002 (O&M) DATE OF DECISION :- 29.10.2025 Meena and others ...Appellants
Versus
Urmila and others
...Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIRINDER AGGARWAL Present:- None for the appellants.
Mr. Utsav Sharma, Advocate for Mr. Sandeep Kumar Sharma, Advocate for respondent No. 1. Mr. D.P. Gupta, Advocate for respondent No. 4. *** VIRINDER AGGARWAL , J. (Oral) 1.
No one has appeared on behalf of the appellants. Notice was issued to the appellants which has been received back duly served for 28.11.2024 and even thereafter none is present on behalf of the appellants. It seems that appellants are not interested in pursuing the instant appeal. 2.
In view of the above and given the prevailing circumstances, there seems to be no justification to keep the appeal on the docket, indefinitely. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed for want of prosecution with liberty to the appellants to revive the same, if have any grievance from this order, within a period of three months from today. 3.
Since the main appeal stands decided, the miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
