CRWP-2023-2025 (O&M) -2CRM-W-460-2025 This is an application under Section 528 of BNSS, for impleading Jyoti w/o Gopi Chand as respondent No.9 in CRWP-20232025. This application has been filed by the applicant - Jyoti alleging that she is legally wedded wife of Gopi Chand @ Manav and has three children out of the said wedlock. It has been further alleged that as per information received from respondent No.5, her husband namely Gopi Chand @ Manav had taken away the petitioner - Jaspreet Kaur on the pretext of completing documentation and helping her to settle in USA. It is submitted that her husband and petitioner had performed marriage and under the influence of her husband, the petitioner has moved the protection petition. As the aforesaid protection petition has already been dismissed as withdrawn, therefore, this application for impleading Jyoti w/o Gopi Chand @ Manav as respondent No.9 in the main petition has become infructuous.
