******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.297 dated 16.12.2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 of Indian Penal Code and 10 of Immigration Act, at Police Station Division No.5, Ludhiana.

Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over revalidated demand draft of `1 lakh bearing No.500670 dated 19.05.2018 to learned counsel for the complainant, copy of which has been placed on file. CRM-M-2077-2018 -2settlement, total payment of `1,15,000/- was agreed to be made to the complainant, out of which demand draft of `1 lakh has been handed over to counsel for the complainant today in Court and remaining payment of `15,000/- is to be made at the time of quashing of FIR. In view of the above facts but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed. Petitioner is directed to surrender before the police and join investigation within two weeks. In the event of her arrest being required, she shall be released on bail, subject to her furnishing bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting Officer. However, she shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2)(i) to (iv) Cr.P.C. failing which she shall lose the benefit of bail allowed to her.
