The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioner as Head Master High School with effect from the date his junior has been promoted.

Learned State counsel contends that the matter has been rendered infructuous as the grievance stands redressed by the respondents. He has been promoted as Head Master High School with effect from 12.08.2008 vide office order dated 05.02.2025, and has been allocated Government High School, Binjhol, Panipat.
