(Oral) The prayer in the petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.90 dated 07.07.2025 under Sections 109, 125, 191(3), 190 of BNS Act (corresponding Sections 307, 336, 148 and 149 IPC) and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, registered at Police Station Kathunangal, District Amritsar (Annexure P-1).

Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 24.02.2026 passed by this Court, petitioners have joined the investigation.

The learned State Counsel on instructions submits that though the petitioners have joined investigation in terms of the order dated 22.04.2026 but they have not got recovered the weapons allegedly used in the occurrence. Section 201 IPC has been invoked. As such, at this stage, the VISHAL SETHI 2026.04.29 10:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not required.

CRM-M-10920-2026 -2In this view of the matter, interim order dated 24.02.2026 is made absolute.

However, the petitioners shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and they shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS.

Petition stands disposed of.
