Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the post of Assistant Registrar and other posts, an advertisement was published in various newspapers on 08.08.2014. However, a day before said advertisement, appointment letter was issued to Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, appointing him as Assistant Registrar with additional responsibility of P.S. to Vice Chancellor on deputation.

Perusal of appointment letter (Annexure P-3) shows that Sanjeev Kumar is already posted as Superintendent in Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa and has been given appointment on deputation for a period of one year. It is not disputed that Vice Chancellor is competent to take any person on deputation subject to the approval of Executive Council.

CRM-M-19869-2017 -2If the petitioner is aggrieved by appointment of Sanjeev Kumar, he has other remedy in this regard and no criminal liability against the Vice-Chancellor is disclosed.

There is no merits in this petition.

Dismissed.
