The petitioner has approached this Court for seeking the relief of the issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 22.10.2010 (Annexure P-8) (which actually bears the date of endorsement as 27.10.2020) whereby her services have been terminated and she has also prayed for the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to decide her legal notice dated 01.02.2021 (Annexure P-9), while averring that she had tendered her resignation due to some family circumstances but however, the respondents passed the impugned order regarding the termination of her services without following the prescribed procedure for this purpose and though, she has moved the said legal notice to the respondents for seeking the redressal of her afore-mentioned grievance but no decision has yet been taken in respect thereof. CWP No.7644 of 2021 [2] Mr. Nikhil Chopra, learned Additional Advocate General, Punjab, has joined the proceedings on behalf of all the respondents, in pursuance of the copies of this petition having been sent to the respondentState, in advance. Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case a direction is issued to respondent No.2, to look into and deal with/decide her said legal notice (Annexure P-9) within some specific time frame.

Learned State counsel has no objection for the same. Keeping in view the above discussed limited prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting upon the merits of the matter in hand, the instant writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-the Director Public Instructions (Secondary Education), Punjab, to look into and deal with/decide the said legal notice of the petitioner (Annexure P-9), in accordance with law/relevant rules, by passing a speaking order thereon, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
