(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, as a matter of fact, as per the FIR on 28.12.2016, the petitioner is stated to have been apprehended at the T point, Malia Kartarpur Road, by the police party. However, he has annexed with the petition photographs on the basis of which it is contended that he was actually picked up from home at 7:28 AM on the said date, as recorded in the CCTV camera installed in the street. He further submits that the quantity of Buprenorphine stated to have been recovered from him is marginally above the commercial quantity of more than 20 grams, it being 30 grams as per the FIR. The quantity of the contraband stated to have been recovered is not disputed by the learned State counsel, who otherwise submits that as regards the recording in the CCTV camera, it is wholly doubtful in view of the fact that it had been recorded from a very far off angle and needs to be verified.
