The petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C for direction to respondent Nos.1 and 2 against respondent Nos.3 to 6 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner. 2.

Notice of motion. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Ranbir Singh Pathania, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of official respondents.

The petitioner states that the dispute is essentially of the civil nature and any right to secure the return of the money already paid under the agreement must be exercised only through a Civil Court and they cannot employ forces through police to recover the amount. The petitioner seeks for protection for his life and liberty. The petitioner will have a representation made to the 2nd respondent, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, who will consider the petitioner's request and extend such protection as the situation might warrant.
