Mr.V.Ramswaroop, Addl.A.G., Punjab Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Learned State counsel seeks to place on record reply by way of affidavit of Baljot Singh Rathore, Sr.Superintendent of Police, Barnala. He submits that in light of order dated 8.5.2017 passed by this court, it has been decided to initiate the proceedings against the accused. Para 1 of the affidavit reads as under:- "That as per the information sought by the Hon'ble High Court vide order dated 8.5.2017 in the above CRM from the SSP Barnala, it is submitted that an application under Section 340 Cr.P.C has been presented in court of Sh.Jarnail Singh, Addl.Chief Judicial Magistrate Barnala for imitating proceedings against Varinder Singh alias Bindi, Maninder Singh sons of Gurcharan Singh and Gurcharan Singh son of Gurbux Singh residents of village Sekha Tehsil and District Barnala on 5.5.2017. "

In view of above, no further direction is necessary. This petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. (Rajan Gupta) Judge May 25, 2017.
