Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of regular bail in FIR No.31 dated 22.03.2011, under Sections 406 and 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC' for short) registered at Police Station Division No.4, Ludhiana City. Learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over `1,00,000/- in cash to the father of the complainant, Somesh Sharma towards arrears of maintenance. Learned counsel for
