The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 13.02.1998 (Annexure P-6) whereby he was reverted to the post of Special Police Officer.

Mr.Sanjay Gupta, Advocate submits that vide order dated 14.04.1998, petitioner's order of reversion was quashed. This fact was not in his knowledge and he has recently received copy of said order. 3.

In view of quashing of order of reversion, the present petition has rendered infructuous.

The petitioner further claims that he is getting increment as per his entitlement, however, was not granted seniority. 6.
The respondents are hereby directed to consider claim of petitioner for seniority in view of order dated 14.04.1998 read with noting dated 21.04.1998 of SSP, Jalandhar as well applicable law. 7.
Disposed of.
