Notice of motion. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Ranbir Singh Pathania, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3. The counsel for the petitioner shall supply three copies of complete paper book to the counsel appearing for the State. 2.

The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 6. 3.

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners are major and they have gotten married on 15.06.2015 and the marriage is also registered by Gurudwara Guru Nank Niwas Sahib, Village Kror Kalan, Tehsil Kharar, District Mohali. 4.

I am of the view that the protection must be given to the petitioners. The petitioners shall give a representation to the 2nd respondent, Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur who will consider the same and afford to them such protection as the situation might warrant.
