Petitioner has filed this writ petition under Article 226 Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash the order dated 23.08.2016 (Annexure P-1), whereby respondent No.2 has accorded sanction for the deduction of 27.5% (22% for his wife and 5.5% for his son) from his pay and allowances as maintenance. The petition was filed on 28.03.2022, but ever since filing of this petition, no one has appeared on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was adjourned. Today, again no one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

The above background shows complete lack of interest in this writ petition.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
