Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) This is a petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C seeking pre-arrest bail in a case FIR No.70 dated 18.5.2014 registered against the petitioner under Sections 406/498-A IPC at Police Station, Doraha, District Ludhiana.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI-Bakshish Singh, submits that offence under Section 406 IPC has been deleted in this case.
In view of statement made by learned State counsel, petitioner is relegated to the remedy of filing a revision in light of judgment delivered in Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar and another, 2014(3) RCR (Crl) 527 before the concerned authority. Disposed of.
