# Allegations against the petitioner Rati Ram, Ex.Gram Sachiv in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in complaint case bearing No.2 of 2014 dated 22.02.2014 under Sections 7 & 13(2)c,d, 13(2) of P.C. Act, 1988 and Section 120:B IPC, are that he along with his co:accused/non:applicant Parwari Devi, Sarpanch in connivance with their other co:accused, without seeking bid had approved allotment of work of village development and on RATTAN PAL SINGH 2015.09.17 17:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court
inquiry by the Deputy Commissioner it came to light that they have siphoned off money of the development funds.
Contentions of learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 25.03.2015 and that the investigation is not likely to conclude in the near future and that the similarly placed co:accused Parwari Devi, Sarpanch has been granted regular bail by this Court vide orders dated 29.05.2015 (Annexure P7) have not been controverted by learned State counsel.
In view of the submissions made and in the light of principle of parity together with the fact that the trial will take a long time to conclude, impels this Court without feeling necessity to advert onto the merits of the case to allow the prayer made in this petition. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on regular bail to the satisfaction of trial Court.
The present petition stands disposed off accordingly. "
