SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) The Court has been convened through video conferencing due to Covid-19 pandemic.

On 16.03.2020, following order was passed:- "Briefly, the FIR bearing No. 95 dated 12.8.2019 has been registered under Sections 420, 120-B IPC at Police Station Tappa Mandi, District Barnala on the basis of the complaint submitted by Gagandeep Singh against the petitioners. It has been stated that Malkhan Singh, who is the husband of Amarjeet Kaur (petitioner in CRM-M-10868-2020) and father

{2} of Rajdeep Singh (petitioner in CRM-M-10861-2020) was also nominated as accused during the investigation. A sum of Rs. Five Lakhs is stated to have been paid for the purpose of sending the complainant abroad but no amount has been deposited in the account of the petitioners or received by them. The co-accused Malkhan Singh has already been granted interim bail by this Court.

Notice of motion for 19.3.2020.

Meanwhile, the petitioners shall join the investigation and would come present as and when called for and in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be admitted to interim bail on their furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioners shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

To be heard with CRM-M-7199-2020.

A photocopy of this order be placed on the file of other connected case."

Interim order passed in CRM-M-7199 of 2020 has been made absolute.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Jasvir Singh submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

{3} In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 16.03.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
