' 4   5# Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jagtar Singh of Police Station Faridkot, submits that the petitioner has joined the proceedings before the trial Court and he had been given exemption from personal appearance by the trial Court. He further submits that present petition is for bail in Section 138 of NIA complaint case, so custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. This Court is of the opinion that the offence under Negotiable Instruments Act is bailable. However, the Court had issued non-bailable warrants against the petitioner.    Be that as it may, due to the Covid-19, Pandemic, the present petition is allowed and NBWs issued by the concerned Court are quashed and set aside. The petitioner shall furnish fresh bail bonds to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court within four weeks' from today.

The petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned Court on the next date and also subsequently dates. He shall also furnish bail bonds to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court.

There would be no need for a certified copy of this order for furnishing bonds, and any Advocate for the Petitioner can download this order along with case status from the official web page of this Court and attest it to be a true copy.
