*** AUGUSTINE GEORGE MASIH, J. (Oral) This writ petition has been filed with a prayer for extension of parole of the petitioner, which is to expire on 14.04.2021, wherein the petitioner is seeking parole for 60 days for agricultural purposes specially for harvesting, in the light of the facts that there is no other member in the family to take care of the land except his widowed mother, who also is an old lady suffering from knee problem. An application has been filed by the petitioner on 24.03.2021 (Annexure P-1) to the Superintendent, District Jail, Kaithal, which he prays may be considered and decided by the date of expiry of this parole, which had been granted to him because of the prevalent COVID Pandemic.
