Jeet Singh v. Rajan Girdhar
IN THE HIGH COURT FOR THE STATES OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH Crl. Misc. No.M-20173 of 2015 (O&M) Date of decision:19.06.2015 Jeet Singh
...Petitioner
Versus
Rajan Girdhar
...Respondent
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE K. KANNAN Present :
Mr. Vinod Khunger, Advocate for the petitioner.
K. KANNAN, J. (ORAL) 1.
There is no need for the petitioner to apply for anticipatory bail before this Court. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is a handicapped person and on the particular day when the case was posted, he could not be present and the Court has issued a non-bailable warrant against him. He further contends that he had sufficient good reasons for his absence. The appropriate procedure for the petitioner will be to surrender before the Court and the said reasons explaining the cause for his absence may be stated before the trial Court for seeking bail. The trial Court will consider the request made by the petitioner for bail on the very same day and pass appropriate orders. 2.
With these observations, the crl. misc. petition is disposed of.
