Though, in respect of the incriminatory occurrence concerned, and, as becomes narrated in Annexure P-1, a compromise has occurred inter se the victim-complainant, and, the accused. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the compromise (supra), is drawn under duress, and, compulsion, being exercised, upon the victim-complainant, by the police officer concerned.

The afore made submission is not supported by any tangible evidence. However, in the larger interest of justice, and, if so, the SHO, Police Station Ferozpur Jhirka, District Mewat, with whom the representation (Annexure P-1), is pending, may after seeking co-operation from all concerned, proceed to, through a speaking order, decide representation (Annexure P-1), within three weeks hereafter.
