(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to release one weapon of the petitioner for the safety of petitioner and his family members and to protect the life and liberty of petitioner at the hands of respondents No.4 to 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that purpose would be achieved in case respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural, is directed to decide representation dated 03.03.2019 (Annexure P-6) of the petitioner in a time-bound manner. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural, to look into the representation of the petitioner dated 03.03.2019 (Annexure P-6) and decide the same after RAVINDER SINGH 2019.03.16 12:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
