(ORAL ) Through video conference The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. with a prayer for issuance of direction or order to meet the ends of justice especially with a prayer to direct respondent Nos.1 to 4 to enquire the matter on the representation dated 10.8.2020 (Annexure P-1) of the petitioner against the private respondents with a second prayer for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.1 to 4, to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner as well as her family members at the hands of the private respondents as the petitioner who is a lady is having threat to her life. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that so far as first prayer with regard to seeking direction for taking RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2021.04.30 13:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-15849-2021 (O&M) appropriate action on the complaint by the police authorities, is concerned, he does not wish to press the same and will pursue the remedy before the authorities below/appropriate Court.

He has further submitted that he confines his prayer only to the extent of protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members at the hands of the private respondents. Notice of motion to respondent Nos.1 to 4 only. On asking of the Court, Mr.M.S.Nagra, AAG Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of aforesaid respondents. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the averments made in the petition, it is directed that respondent No.3, shall consider the threat perception of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents and in case so required to ensure the protection of her life and liberty in accordance with law. The necessary threat perception be considered within a period of one week from the receipt of certified copy of this order.

It is made clear that this order pertains only to the extent of protection of life and liberty of the petitioner in accordance with law and does not reflect anything on the merits of the case with regard to the dispute inter se between the petitioner and the private respondents. Disposed of accordingly.
