**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No. 26 dated 23.03.2018 under Sections 498-A, 506, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Rewari, District Rewari (Haryana).
This Court was pleased to pass the following order on 18.05.2018 :- "It is contended that the petitioners are the uncles (Chachas) of the complainant's husband. The complainant was living separately from the present petitioners and they have nothing to do with the matrimonial dispute of the complainant. Notice of motion for 28.08.2018.
In the meanwhile, petitioners shall appear before the Investigating Officer and shall fully cooperate in the investigation of this case. In the event of their arrest, petitioners shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of Investigating Officer. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation.
Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from ASI Sushila, confirms the factum of joining investigation by the petitioners. Since the petitioners have joined the investigation, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 18.05.2018 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioners will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
